Oh Mom! Why do you put me in this silly getup?
Well, it really isn't that cold yet. We actually wish it was colder so that we could have snow instead of all of this rain. We are itching to build a snowman and snow is soooo much more pretty than rain! Lucas has been wanting to go outside but our backyard is basically a mudpit so I took him for a little wagon ride on the driveway and when we came in he had his first mug of hot chocolate. (he loved it of course) Lilly didn't go for the wagon ride, but she did look cute all bundled up when we went shopping later!

Yes, the midwest is hard this time of year. Too cold to hang around outside (or too much rain or snow), but being in the house all of the time drives you stircrazy.
Hope you had a nice New Years. We are thinking about our spring travel plans & will be checking out airfares over the next few weeks. We'll keep you posted.
