The Bouncer...

Lucas enjoys bouncing Lilly in her new bouncer...
But he loves playing in it himself even more!
Now if you will notice...the bouncer that Lucas climbed in is on top of our kitchen table so first he climbed onto the table before he climbed into the bouncer! He is such a monkey! When I started to take pictures of him in there he said CHEESE and stared through the bubbles...it was way too cute not to put on the blog!
What are we going to do with him??

Big Brother Kisses

He still may not want to hold her yet...but he does love to give her kisses!
Admist the tantrums, he is being a very good helper to mommy and we think he is going to be
a wonderful big brother!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Lilly and the second newest arrival Noah with Uncle Ben.
Lucas and Second cousin Jasmine and Third cousin Tyler playing dinner music.
Lucas and cousin Hannah going for a Thanksgiving drive.
Well, this year Thanksgiving wasn't all about the food...it was all about the cousins! First it was with our new nephew Noah at our Thanksgiving up North with Tim's family. Then Saturday at my family Thanksgiving with my dad's side of the family the little ones pretty much ran the show- from singing on the microphone to playing the piano. Then later on Lucas and Hannah thought they would try taking off in Hannah's van...but they didn't get very far since they couldn't reach the pedals! Maybe next year they will actually want to eat some turkey!

One week old...

Here she is already one week old. So far her favorite past times are as follows; keeping mommy busy by eating often, sleeping on daddy's chest, and getting swung in her swing by her big brother. She is looking forward to lots of Turkey and mashed potatoes this week and being held by all of her family. I think she is a keeper! :)

Home at last

We brought Lilly home on Monday the 13th. She was dressed in a pink Princess outfit. Lucas had drawn her a picture to welcome her and was glad she was here (kinda). Lucas had a great time with both grandparents and Uncle Eric watching him all weekend while mommy and daddy were at the hospital. Thanks to all for your help!

Ahhh...a grandaughter

Well, I don't have to tell you how proud

the grandparents are with their new

grandaughter! Especially Tamara who

has been waiting for a little girl for quite

some time! I am sure she will be spoiled.

She will also love her cousins Noah and Hannah! The family just keeps growing!

IT'S A GIRL!

Lillian Grace Hess has arrived! She was born on Saturday, November 11th at 10:03am. She was 6lbs. 14oz. and 20" long. She has a full head of dark hair and is absolutely beautiful! (Tim says we can keep her even though she is a girl). Lucas was not sure what to think when he first met her...but it probably didn't help that there were 20 other people in the room staring at him. What a cute family we make!

Listening for the Baby

Lucas loved to try and hear the baby's heartbeat inside mommy's tummy. It was a weekly ritual the last few months. Lucas' real understanding of the "baby" was just starting to form in the last few weeks.
